My Story

I’ve spent my career looking for opportunities to learn, solve problems, and build things that make a difference. Although my roles have grown over the years, I’ve always been drawn to work that combines creative thinking, practical problem-solving, and helping people and businesses grow.

I began my career in New York City as an artist, educator, and art therapist. That background taught me to observe closely, ask good questions, work through uncertainty, and approach problems from different angles. Over time, I became just as interested in how programs, teams, and business worked as I was in the work itself.

That curiosity led me from program management to executive leadership. For more than 20 years, I have led teams, developed programs, managed complex operations and resources, and built partnerships with businesses, universities, government agencies, funders, and community organizations. As an executive, my responsibilities include strategy, operations, finance, fundraising, communications, facilities, technology initiatives, partnerships, and organizational change.

Through all of it, I have remained an artist and a creative thinker. The arts taught me to stay curious, experiment, notice connections, and keep working when the first solution does not work. Executive leadership taught me how to turn ideas into plans, inspire people to collaborate around a shared vision, manage resources, and move organizations forward.

A cancer diagnosis brought my career and life to an unexpected pause, but gave me time to think carefully about what I wanted next. I realized that many of the parts of my work I had enjoyed most involved innovation, technology, problem-solving, and exploring new possibilities. That led me back to school to study artificial intelligence and cloud computing through MIT Professional Education and the University of Texas at Austin.

Today, I bring together a combination that is not always easy to find: the perspective of an artist and creative thinker, the experience of an executive who understands strategy, operations, people, and organizations, and a growing foundation in AI, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.

I’m interested in opportunities across the private, public, nonprofit, creative, and technology sectors. At the center of all of it is something simple: I enjoy working with good people to solve meaningful problems and build stronger businesses.
